Hi guys, again. If you so happen just to chance upon this page, let me give you a little piece of inportant info. I'm from the Boys' Brigade. It so happened that today was my promotion test (CPL to SGT). (Most of the people screwed up.) Of course, there were a few boys that were so funny that we almost laughed. The morning went well, and then, promotion test was over.Reminds me of my last promotion test; there was me and this guy called Stanley, of which I heard that we had actually failed the practical component and therefore could not pass the entire test. However, we actually passed the test due to the grace of the officers/CLT's (not sure). Praise the LORD for that. However, this is not the end of the story. It's about a gift granted, and it's much more than a simple little rank in the BB.Around 2000 years ago, a great decision was made. God came down as a little human called (baby) Jesus.
But he had no union with her until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus. Matthew 1:25
Then, the little baby Jesus was wanted by a power paranoid Herod.
Slash! Slash! That was the fate of the babies who stayed. Herod's plan failed. Baby Jesus was safe somwhere else.
Then he grew to a man of 33. Then one night, there came the chief priests and those with them. Their objective? To see Jesus... ... dead.
There was God. God on the cross. Two cruel nails pierced the very hands of the suffering Saviour. One was driven through the legs. The agonizing pain.
The price of salvation. All sin was on Him. The sins of all the people.
About the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?"—which means, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"Matthew 27:46
I bet the Heavenly Father must have turned His face away. I wonder how the God-forsaken Saviour must have felt.
Jesus called out with a loud voice, "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit." When he had said this, he breathed his last.Luke 23:46
The price of salvation. More than just a mere rank.Wonderful Saviour. Wonderful Grace. The greatest gift of all.Not just a normal gift. The Saviour paid for it. The price? His very own blood, shed for us. Have you accepted the gift He gave? If you have not, do pray this prayer in your heart.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your marvelous grace. May you use this feeble effort to help sinners to realize what actually took place on the cross and to place faith in your Son's blessed work. Stir the hearts of sincere believers to emphasize to unbelievers that the work of salvation has been DONE, and that all they have to do is rest completely in that finished work. Thank you for saving me and allowing me to have a part in proclaiming your grace.
In Jesus' name, amen.
