In the book of Ephesians, we were told to wear the full armour of God.
The sword. A vital part of the armor.
Back in the medival ages, the sword can be considered a good weapon. In the bible, we were told to wield the Sword of the Spirit. In this spiritual battle of our lives, the sword of the spirit is a must. The word of God, prayer, devotions, quiet times... these are the things that make up the sword.
In battle, the sword has two purposes; to attack and to defend. Use it in our fight against the devil, in the name of our Lord Most High! Be on your guard against the evil of this world too!
